On August 2, 2006, Gerry Oginski gave a continuing legal education lecture to 120 lawyers at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York on Medical Malpractice matters. Lawyers in New York are required to take 24 credits of continuing legal education classes over a period of two years. This keeps lawyers up to date and knowledgeable about their field of law, and permits them to learn about other areas of law they might not encounter on a daily basis.
