Jury Awards Teen Injured In School A state appeals court has upheld a jury award to an Elkhorn High School student who was injured wearing goggles meant to simulate the effects of alcohol. The court says the teacher's practice of having students wear the goggles was an accident waiting to happen. Some of the student's teeth were knocked out after she tripped and hit her mouth on a desk. She was awarded $28,000.
