I created my website to help injured victims learn how lawsuits work here in the State of New York. All throughout my site I explain in detail how medical malpractice cases work; how accident cases work and how death cases work. Importantly, in each of my books you will find details about how civil cases like these work.
What an attorney looks for when evaluating your case;
What two questions an attorney must ask when you come in;
What is a summons and complaint;
What is a discovery conference;
What is a preliminary conference;
What is a deposition;
...and lots more information that will make you a better-educated and informed consumer. In addition to my free books, I encourage you to read the articles below and then explore my website for much more information about cases like these: Free video tips; hundreds of FAQ's; actual testimony by doctors; free reports, articles and blog posts and so much more.
As always, if you have legal questions, I urge you to pick up the phone
and call me since I can answer your legal questions; That's what I do
every day! You can reach me at 516-487-8207 or by email:
lawmed10@yahoo.com. The call is free and I really don't bite. I welcome
your call.
Gerry practices law exclusively in the State of New York. Within New York he practices primarily in the following counties: New York, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk. Technically, Brooklyn is known as "Kings County," and Manhattan and New York City are known as "New York County." Staten Island is known as "Richmond County." These counties make up the New York metropolitan area.

When your attorney calls you and tells you the attorneys who represent the people you have sued have asked the court to throw out your case, I guarantee you will be outraged. You will feel frustrated. You will want to scream. You will be confused. You may think “How dare someone who didn't go through what I went through, try to get my case dismissed on a legal technicality?”

An injured victim's credibility is judged at the following times in the lawsuit process:
