A: Absolutely. If you have a lawsuit in progress, and it's been filed with the Court, your case will then be in the Court computer system. You can access the Court system in a few ways, both of which are free. I have found the easiest and simplest way is to use a service called e-law.com. This is an attorney service to monitor cases in the Court system. e-law allows you to do free searches. Simply sign up for free, then put in your name where it says "Plaintiff" and press enter. Your case should come up with all the accompanying information and upcoming court dates. This online information only tells you what is going on in Court. It doesn't tell you many other things about the details of your actual case such as depositions or discovery documents. For that, you need to call the attorney and ask.
