Gallbladder Surgery

Laparoscopic gallbladder surgery is also known as a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This is a fancy term which means that a doctor will use fiber-optic cameras and tools to remove your gallbladder through a very small incision on your belly. There are numerous benefits to having this performed laparoscopically. One of the benefits include less hospital stay, less risk of infection, and less pain. However, one drawback is that there is a steep learning curve when a surgeon performs a laparoscopic gallbladder removal.

That basically means that unless the surgeon has performed many of these procedures he may still be learning how to do these procedures laparoscopy. Experience counts most during this type of procedure.

If you have questions about your laparoscopic gallbladder removal, and suffered injury as a result of the procedure, please call me. I can answer your legal questions. I can be reached at 516-487-8207 or by e-mail at lawmed10@yahoo.com. I look forward to your call.
