Gynecology Errors and Mistakes

Improperly performed gynecologic surgery; misread lab tests and incorrectly performed office procedures can have devastating consequences. An unrecognized injury during surgery can be deadly. Unrecognized bowel perforation following gynecologic surgery can be deadly. A "simple" laparoscopy can create excessive bleeding, injury to adjacent organs which, if not timely realized, can cause sepsis, which is a very serious infection throughout your body. Unnecessary hysterectomies have been performed because of incorrectly read pap smears and pathology reports.
