A young man had chest pain and was evaluated in an emergency room and admitted to the hospital. He was given a stress test and cardiac workup. Unfortunately, the stress test was misread, leading to devastating heart damage that could have been prevented. (As much as we'd like to discuss more details of this tragic cardiac case, we cannot because of a confidentiality agreement between the parties.)
